We are so proud of both our CEO Van Wert High School interns!

⭐️🎶Congratulations to our 4 seniors, Meah Johnson, Grace Spieles, Delani Knoch, and Lila Jensen. Thank you for your dedication to theatre these past four years and more. These students were awarded with the Excellence in Theatre Award today at the Senior Awards Convocation.

🎼Meah Johnson has performed in 11 productions here at Van Wert High School starting back in 2017 and has taken Musical Theatre coursework. Some role highlights include Professor Plum in Clue, Ellie in Freaky Friday, and Lion in the Wizard of Oz. She also performed in Frozen, Once Upon a Mattress, Route 66, Damsels in Distress, Trouble in Tumbleweed, Cinderella, Tarzan, and Mystery at Shady Acres. Best Wishes to Meah as she studies Acting at Ohio Northern University.

🎼Grace Spieles has taken the Musical Theatre and Production Design courses and has participated in 7 productions here at Van Wert High School. Some role highlights include being Anna in Frozen, Miss Scarlet in Clue, Queen Aggravain in Once Upon a Mattress, and Savannah in Freaky Friday. She also performed in Damsels in Distress, Wizard of Oz, and Cinderella along with several Van Wert Civic Theatre productions. Best wishes to Grace at Ohio Northern University as she will major in Entertainment and Production Design.

🎼Delani Knoch has participated as a crew leader in 5 productions here at Van Wert High School and numerous youth productions at Van Wert Civic Theatre. She was always willing to spend extra time to ensure that lights and sound were always taken care of. Her willingness to lead and learn something new was always appreciated. Best wishes to Delani as she
will be studying Music Technology after graduation.

🎼Lila Jensen has participated as a crew leader in 6 productions here at Van Wert High School and numerous youth productions at Van Wert Civic Theatre. She was always on top of things and knew what needed to be done. Her kindness and ability to tackle any task was always much appreciated. We appreciate her dedication to crew! Best wishes to Lila as she plans to study Creative Writing in college.

The Excellence in Theatre award honors seniors who have made significant contributions to our theatre program. It’s been awarded for the past 9 years. Thank you for sharing your time and talents and we are wishing you all the best of luck in your future endeavors! 🎭⭐️🎵🐾🎼
