September 1st - September 7th, 2026 The mission of the Van Wert County Agricultural Society is to educate, enhance, and preserve our agricultural roots through our youth and community. The Van Wert County Agricultural Society is the governing entity over the Van Wert County Fair and Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds hosts over 16 events on the grounds throughout the year and also offers building rental

s for special events like bridal showers, baby showers, graduation parties, proms, and wedding receptions. We are continually grateful for the support provided by The Van Wert County Foundation. The Foundation is invested in improving the quality of life for Van Wert County as a whole and has donated to the Van Wert County Agricultural Society in specific ways, which allows us to bring you a better fair experience year after year. Funding for this program was provided by the John D. and Nellie S. Ault Memorial Fund through the Van Wert County Foundation. The John D. Ault Memorial Fund is an endowment fund created to support charitable needs of our community. More information can be found at www.vanwertcountyfoundation.org

The Van Wert County Agricultural Society is proud to announce the receipt of a $15,000 grant from Farm Credit Mid-America in support of our Dairy Barn Restoration Project!

This project will provide a much-needed facelift to the Dairy Barn, including restoration of the Dairy Barn exterior. Improvements include refinishing and sealing the stucco/parge exterior, priming and painting the exterior, and hopefully completing the installation of new windows on the north side of the barn.

We are incredibly grateful to Farm Credit Mid-America for their investment in preserving and improving our fairgrounds for exhibitors, fairgoers, and future generations.
