Van Wert Civic Theatre Live theatre in your neighborhood. We offer that neighborhood feel, where you park near our front door and come on in. Ticket prices are $16.

Van Wert Civic Theatre is a totally volunteer organization which produces award-winning live theatre for the Van Wert, Ohio area. We will even serve you coffee and punch at intermission. We offer five shows each season (September through May) and produce 2 youth theatre shows each summer. Watch our page or go to vwct.org for information on all of our shows. AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT ✈️

The Van Wert Civic Theatre is excited to announce auditions for "Catch Me If You Can", the high-flying Broadway musical based on the hit film and the incredible true story of Frank Abagnale, Jr.!

Follow the charming and daring Frank Abagnale, Jr. as he impersonates a pilot, doctor, lawyer, and more while staying one step ahead of the determined FBI agent Carl Hanratty. Packed with glamorous settings, spectacular dance numbers, unforgettable characters, and a swinging 1960s-inspired score, this musical is a thrilling adventure you won't want to miss!

🎵 What to Prepare
Please bring a prepared song and a copy of your sheet music for the accompanist. Auditionees will also be asked to sing selections from the show. This production is entirely music-driven.

• Frank Abagnale, Jr. – A charismatic young con artist searching for where he belongs
• Carl Hanratty – The relentless FBI agent determined to catch Frank
• Frank Abagnale, Sr. – Frank's fast-talking father and role model
