We can’t say THANK YOU enough to everyone who came out and made last night another great night of racing at MCMD!

❤️ To our racers who traveled from near and far — thank you for loading those trucks up, making the drive, putting on one heck of a show, and continuing to support the track.

🙌 To our fans — thank you for packing the stands, cheering on our racers, supporting our vendors, and spending your Saturday night with us!

🛍️ To our vendors, staff, volunteers, and sponsors — these races simply do not happen without y’all. There is a whole lot of work behind the scenes, and we appreciate every single person who helps us pull it off.

🥵🔥 And can we talk about that good ol’ TEXAS HEAT?! A huge thank you to our racers, fans, vendors, staff, volunteers, and sponsors for hanging in there with us through it! It was HOT, but y’all still showed up, stuck it out, and helped make it one heck of a night at the track. That’s dedication right there! 🏁

What started as wanting to help a local family turned into our racing community showing exactly what it’s made of. Teachers, tonight is for YOU! Bring your school ID and enjoy HALF-PRICE ENTRY + HALF-PRICE COLD ONES! 🍻 Every teacher will also receive a FREE raffle ticket for our special Teacher Raffle Drawings at intermission! 🎟️🎁

This year, instead of our usual school supply drive, MCMD has adopted a local family who could use a little extra help getting their kids ready for school. We’ll be taking them shopping for everything they need to start the year off right! 🛒🎒✏️

If you’d like to help us make their back-to-school shopping trip even better, Mrs. Crystal will be accepting donations at tonight’s race. Every little bit helps us stretch that shopping budget a little further! ❤️

🏁🍎 IT’S RACE WEEKEND & TEACHER NIGHT AT MCMD! 🍎🏁

This Saturday night, we’re hitting the track AND showing some love to our teachers as everyone gets ready to head back to school! ❤️📚

But first, we’ve decided to do something a little different with our Back-to-School efforts this year!

Instead of our school supply drive, Matagorda County Mud Drags will be adopting a local family who could use a little extra help getting ready for the new school year. ❤️

This family has two boys, ages 10 and 15, with the oldest getting ready for a BIG milestone — his very first day of HIGH SCHOOL! 🥹📚

MCMD will be taking them shopping and making sure they have what they need to walk into the new school year feeling prepared, confident and excited — school supplies, clothes, shoes, backpacks and all those little things that add up so quickly.

MCMD will be covering the shopping trip, but we know our racing family has some of the biggest hearts around. ❤️ If you'd like to pitch in with a donation, gift card, school supplies or anything else to help us stretch the budget a little further and make their day even more special, please get with Mrs. Crystal at Saturday night’s race or send us a message!
