Earlier this year, I was re-diagnosed with a Grade 3 astrocytoma. Reaching out like this is difficult for me, but cancer has a way of forcing you to accept help when you need it. I've completed 3 rounds of chemotherapy along with radiation treatment, and between the treatment itself, the constant pain, fatigue, and the tumor's effects on my executive functioning, even simple day-to-day tasks can be a challenge.
Over the last few months, I've managed to stay afloat by selling small artworks and personal items, along with the incredible support of my partner, Tania. She's helped carry us through a lot while I've focused on treatment, but the reality is that not being able to work consistently has put us in a difficult financial position, and there's only so much a teacher's salary can cover.
I'm still here, and I'm still fighting. If you're able to help by purchasing artwork, donating, or simply sharing this post, it would mean more than I can put into words.
