Rediscover the spirit of Christmas on Friday, November 20, and Saturday, November 21, at Chicago Street Theatre with a special holiday concert featuring a lineup of talented singers and musicians under the direction of Laura Carns.

Featuring a variety of Christmas favorites and festive musical numbers, “Making Spirits Bright,” will take you on a journey from “Bah, humbug!” to a heartwarming celebration of the season.

What happens when Scrooge takes center stage? Our evening’s emcee will step into the role of Scrooge, who has become convinced that Christmas is nothing more than a nuisance. But throughout the concert, a series of musical “ghosts” will appear—each using the power of song to remind Scrooge of the joy, warmth, memories, and spirit of Christmas.

And the best part? Your ticket helps support Chicago Street Theatre!

Come enjoy an evening of music, merriment, and a little theatrical magic while helping support the arts in our community. Get your tickets at https://chicagostreet.ludus.com/index.php?show_id=200547411&ref=facebook.

Insanity doesn’t just run in this family; it practically gallops! Thank you to all who paid visit to the home of Martha and Abby Brewster these last three weekends. We hope you survived, or we mean enjoyed, your time and got to try some of the delicious w**e.

Congrats to the amazing cast and crew for entertaining sold-out crowds during our fantastic run of the dark screwball comedy, Joseph Kesselring’s “Arsenic and Old Lace,” on our stage. Before we say good night, let’s look back on these fun moments from the show.
