Join us Friday, October 30th from 5:30–7:30 PM EST at the Valley Sportsplex (130 Sportsplex Drive) for a night full of Halloween fun!

We’ll have tons of trick-or-treating, food trucks, carnival games, inflatables, and so much more! 👻

🏀 Youth Basketball Registration is OPEN!

Valley Parks & Recreation is excited to tip off the 2026–2027 Youth Basketball Season! Get ready for another exciting season filled with teamwork, skill development, friendly competition, and fun on the court. Don't miss your shot to be part of the action!

Registration Details
💲$60 registration fee (includes player's game jersey)
*VCC members receive a $10 discount when registering in person!

🏃🏼COED Teams: 6U, 8U, 10U & 12U

📅 Important Dates
• November 9th – Coaches Meeting at 6 PM EST
•November 10th – Player Evaluations
6U & 8U: 6 PM EST | 10U & 12U: 7 PM EST
•November 14th – Practices Begin
•January 2nd – Games Begin
•February 27th – Season Concludes

Here are just a few Mahj Monday Moments! ✨🀄

This past Monday at Shawmut Kindergarten, we welcomed so many new players! Our instructor, Robbye Smith, led us through our first Mahjong 101 lesson, and we are so excited to be back at Shawmut Kindergarten!

Remember, Mahjong Mondays aren't just for those who are learning! Come join us for open play, too. Whether you're just getting started or have been playing for years, there's a seat at the table for you!

Valley Community Center members play for FREE, and nonmembers are just $5. We hope to see you at the table next Monday! 🀄

The 2026 Fall Festival is Friday, October 30th, from 5:30–7:30 PM EST, and we want YOU to be part of it!

Our Fall Festival wouldn't be possible without the generosity of our community and all the local businesses and organizations that participate in the Trick-or-Treat Trail. We're so thankful for everyone who helps make this event special for our community!

We had so much fun this past Saturday at our Three’s Company: Muumuus & Mahjong party, hosted by Lauderdale & Lauderdale, PC. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a fun afternoon!

Don’t forget, we’re kicking off another 6-week session of Mahjong Monday instructional lessons TONIGHT with Robbye Smith at Shawmut Kindergarten, starting at 6 PM EST!

The 2026 Veterans Day Program will be hosted by the City of Valley and presented by American Legion Post 67.

Join us Wednesday, November 11th at 11:00 AM EST at Veterans Park, 6000 20th Avenue, Valley, for a special service honoring the men and women who have served in our nation’s military.

We invite everyone in our community to come together as we honor, remember, and thank our veterans for their service and sacrifice.
