We were proud to have Dr. Jakin Lefto present about iREC at the Kansas Recreation and Park Association’s annual conference today. Sharing the work happening in Valley Center allows us to connect with those doing similar work and offer resources to those interested in creating something like this in their own communities!

Last Friday, iREC hosted a Hygiene Workshop where we invited students from Next Steps Academy and individuals from New Hope Services of Valley Center, Kansas to learn about the importance of hygiene, how it demonstrates respect of ourselves and others, and boosts our confidence. Thank you to everyone who helped out with the event and Valley Center Public Schools, USD 262 for donating the supplies!
