Dear Dance Students, Parents and VC Community,

It is with great pride that Ann’s School of Dance has served this terrific community for the past 43 years! We have been blessed to have shared the joy of dance with thousands while receiving tremendous enthusiastic support. We have staged 83 dance productions and have held many additional area performances through the years.

Due to the difficult circumstances caused by the COVID-19 mandated shutdowns, and after much prayerful consideration, I have made the difficult decision to retire my business, Ann’s School of Dance.

Happily, though, dance in Valley Center will continue as our highly qualified instructor, Elizabeth Merrick, will soon be continuing classes at the same location! The studio name will change but the same quality of dance education will continue. Call 760-749-1617 for updates.

Finally, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Valley Center community and all past and present students and their families who have participated at our school. It has been a joy and honor to have had the privilege to touch so many lives.

Response to COVID-19

Dear Parents and Students,

The global outbreak of COVID-19 is affecting each and every one of us in ways we didn't even imagine a few weeks ago. We pray you and your loved ones are staying safe and well.

Due to government recommendations, we are extending the date that we hope to re-open to May 1. Please check back for changes or updates.

Response to COVID-19

Dear Parents and Students,

Due to the seriousness of COVID-19, and out of the abundance of caution, we have chosen to follow the health recommendations and school closure schedule.

There will be no classes March 16-28. We plan to resume March 30. Please check back for changes or updates.
