Artwalk is this Friday, August 14th from 5 to 9 pm

Join us downtown for Vallejo 2nd Friday Artwalk, a long-standing monthly community connecting arts event going strong since 2014.

The road closure is expanding to make way for more art and activities! Vendors and food trucks are encouraged to set up on Marin St. between Virginia and Capitol. Carnalitos Customs Car Club will line the street with their lowriders and classic cars with an eye-catching display of artfully painted cars, fun for the whole family!

Marin Street will be closed to traffic from Georgia to Capitol starting at 4 pm. Please drive carefully while navigating the traffic detours and please slow down for pedestrians.

Beer and wine will be available for sale at the City Arts Gallery, 420 Virginia St. (near Marin St.) during the opening reception of Jaguar Azul and Inspirations art exhibition. The art show features Sal Garcia with Caroline Takeda and Linda Baehr. Sip, mingle and enjoy!

Other fun events and activities are happening all throughout the downtown area and at nearby businesses and galleries.

Artwalk is growing!

This Friday July 10th (& every 2nd Friday) from 5 to 9 pm, downtown Vallejo showcases local art, music and flavor! Free!

This Friday microgrants will be available for eligible vending artists.

Sip, mingle and enjoy with selections of beer and wine for sale at City Arts Gallery, 420 Virginia St., near Marin St.

Enjoy an evening of local art vendors, performers, local merchants and other happenings in downtown Vallejo. There’s always something new. Support local artists and this longstanding monthly community event!

In appreciation of our creative community, Vallejo Artwalk will award a one-time $100 microgrant to the first 25 vending artists.

This initiative is designed to directly support working creatives.

Vending artists must display original creative work and be fully set up for Vallejo Artwalk by 5 pm on the 600 block of Marin Street on Friday, March 13, 2026.

This is a one-time participation microgrant and only the first 25 vending artists set up by 5 pm are eligible. Must remain open through the duration of the event (until 8 pm minimum) and must be present to receive a microgrant. For more info, email [email protected].
