Happy Birthday Papa. You would’ve been 69 today. It’s been two years since you left but not a day goes by where I don’t think about you. I wish I could talk to you or hear your laugh. No matter what I was going through or how much I was effin’ up, you always made me feel like I can accomplish anything. I feel so grateful to have had the privilege to be loved by you. I hope your not disappointed with the outcome of my life and what it’s become since you left. I’m trying really hard to carry on and I’m stronger today because of all that you’ve taught me. Especially how you always told me whenever I felt I came up short or felt lost that ‘I’ll get ‘em next time’. I really hope you’re at peace. Say hi to E-mo, Yen-Yen, Yeh-Yeh, Halmeoni, and Abraham Lincoln for me. Till next time ‘Ol Man. See you in my dreams:)
