GORGUTS – The Erosion Of Sanity (1993)
An improvement on their debut in every way: the vocals are harsher and more confident, the guitars are drenched in even more putrid distortion, the riffs churn at such low decibels I feel like the music is playing in the back of my throat and the drums frantically pound away in more nightmarish and twisted patterns. I also love the melodic passages that introduce some tracks - they bring a much needed variety to this album's sound.

DARK ANGEL – Darkness Descends (1986)

I am not kidding when I say this is among the greatest thrash metal albums ever released. Like this is unbelievably top notch thrash in every conceivable aspect. The brutality, power, and intensity in the music is damn near unmatched.
