This past Friday, we held graduation for the Class of 2025, marking the end of a 4-year journey for some of our most beloved students. To the Class of 2025, you have played vital parts(pun intended) in our superior ratings and have been key players in helping to drive a culture of excellence in our band program. Our success has been a direct result of your hard-work and dedication. As you march into your future, know that I am always here cheering for you, and I am here whenever you may need a listening ear or a word of encouragement. Remember these words “Act like you got some sense!” Go and be great! I expect nothing less.

On yesterday afternoon, we had the honor and pleasure of watching the HHS Class of 2023 graduate. To borrow from a wise and eloquent speaker who also happens to be a wonderful clarinet player, this class has been like a Band. Sometimes you have missed an entrance, played in the wrong key, or even played the wrong part, but you kept going. Your practice and preparation have prepared you for the ultimate performance called life. Unfortunately, you will have bad performances, like we have before, but never give up! Keep practicing! One day you will earn a superior rating.
You have been an instrumental part of the HHS Band family, and we are going to miss you! But rest assured that we are here cheering for you! Don’t forget to stay in touch. We wish you much Success and Happiness!
