Last weekend, VAPA students Mary Langdale & Drew DeMersseman received the honor of singing alongside the best of the best choristers from all across Georgia as part of the Georgia Music Educators’ Association (GMEA) All-State Chorus event in Athens, GA.

Mary, a freshman from Lowndes High School, sang as a member of the Senior Women’s chorus.

Drew, an 8th grade Valwood student, sang in the Middle Tenor-Bass chorus.

These young artists got to work with and learn from talented clinicians and meet new singing friends all while being immersed in a truly rich musical community. Both students proudly represented their many years of hard work through private Voice instruction with VAPA and made us all proud!!!
