About Bob Ross:
Bob Ross started painting at the age of 18, after joining the Air Force. His first duty station was Alaska, I think the landscape was one of the biggest inspirations for most of his iconic pieces. After taken various art courses he developed quick and unique technique call Ross wet on wet style of painting.
In 1981 Bob toured the US teaching his technique which turned into the Bob Ross Inc. and now his technique is taught all over the world. His T.V. programs, in which we all remember watching, can still be seen on T.V. All paints, brushes etc. were devised by Bob Ross for method of wet on wet. In honor of Bob Ross Hollands Royal Bulb growers association has named a beautiful New Flower after him called the Bob Ross amaryllis.
In 1996 the Ross style floral tech was introduced and how wild life by Annette Kowalski is also a partner of the Bob Ross program.
Bob Ross died of Lymphoma in 1995. But his method lives on.
