Spotted in the galleries: "Lobsterman" by Julian Levi 🦞

Summer is a good time to slow down and take in the details, and Levi’s maritime subjects are a perfect fit for the season. Levi became known for both representational and abstract landscapes, often returning to the sea for inspiration.

Fun fact: Julian Levi was born right around the corner in Yorkville, N.Y.!

📍See "Lobsterman" on view now on the AO level in the Museum of Art.
