Today is my 3 Years at Starved Rock Tattoo Company 🥹💚🙌🏻

These last 3 years that i’ve been working in this industry have truly been a blessing, i’ve gone through sweat and tears to get to where I am and I am so beyond proud of ME! That’s not something I couldn’t of easily said years ago about myself, but I have the wonderful family i’ve created here at SRTC that remind me each day of my greatness that now, I take it with pride instead of uncertainty.

I have learned so so much and I will continue to learn to be the best piercer/manager I can be. Thank you to all of my clients who have trusted me over the years to give you the piercings you’ve dreamed of having or just wanted out of pure impulse. Thank you to my wonderful team for pushing me to keep going and for all the hard work and dedication you guys have put throughout the years of working for us. I am so proud to be your manager💗 Without any of you guys, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I can’t wait for many more years to come, and for new opportunities that lie ahead:)

MY FIRST EVER BRIDGE AHHHH🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Im so excited to be starting to learn these piercings! For this client I ended up piercing it twice, I ended up not liking how I pierced it the first time and decided to redo my angle. The reason i’m mentioning this in my post is for any apprentice who is currently learning because I want to show that we do make mistakes! and we aren’t all machines! But I accessed it with my client and he was super awesome and understanding, even let me redo it for him:) And now it looks so so cool and i’m so much happier with my angle.

To anyone who is currently in this industry and is currently learning, accessing the situation and being honest with your client truly shows how much you care for them and their piercing! I’d much rather have my clients leave with something they’re going to be happy with in the end 🙌🏻💗
