✨FESTIVAL ANNOUNCEMENT: NNAMDI NGWE JOINS THE 2025 UPTOWN IMPROV FESTIVAL ✨

We’re proud to welcome Nnamdi Ngwe as a featured performer and instructor at this year’s Uptown Improv Festival, taking place October 9–12 in Utica, NY.

An accomplished actor, writer, and comedian, Nnamdi has trained and performed at The Second City and iO Theater, where he was named Teacher of the Year—a recognition of his excellence in the classroom and his lasting impact on students.

Nnamdi’s credits include writing and performing for hit shows like The Amber Ruffin Show, A Black Lady Sketch Show, Blippi, House Sitters, and the Emmy Award–winning Tab Time. He also performs globally with the award-winning sketch/improv group 3Peat.

We’re thrilled to have Nnamdi bringing his talent, expertise, and warmth to the festival stage and classroom.

🌟FESTIVAL ANNOUNCEMENT: JAIME MOYER IS COMING TO THE UPTOWN! 🌟

We’re thrilled to welcome the incredible Jaime Moyer to the 2025 Uptown Improv Festival in Utica, NY this October 9–12!

Jaime is a powerhouse improviser, teacher, and TV actress whose credits include Modern Family, AP Bio, Parks and Rec, 2 Broke Girls, Night Court, Detroiters, and Bob’s Burgers — just to name a few.

She trained at Second City Detroit, has performed and taught all over the world, and brings her signature brilliance, generosity, and hilarity to every stage she graces.

We’re welcoming submissions from improv teams of all shapes, sizes, and styles. Whether you’re short form, long form, musical, genre-bending, or gloriously unclassifiable — if you’re creating magic through improvisation, we want to see it.
