🎭✨ MEET THE CAST OF AVENUE Q ✨🎭

We are so excited to officially introduce the cast of our upcoming production of Avenue Q! These talented performers will be bringing heart, humor, and plenty of puppetry magic to the stage, and we cannot wait for you to see what they create together.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out to audition. The amount of talent we saw made the casting process incredibly difficult, and the quality of auditions blew us way. We are so grateful to every person who shared their time, effort, and passion with us.

Congratulations to those cast, and thank you again to everyone who auditioned — we hope to see you back on stage with us again soon!

Are you looking for plans this weekend or next weekend? We have a current student, a few graduated students and MANY friends of our program in this super talented cast of SWEENY TOOD at Players of Utica. And also students, former students and friends in the crew! (AND our CMM/ Theatre grad William Lanfear is responsible for some inspiring blood fx. He'll be visiting my Special Fx class at UU next semester to share his secrets! The blood fx merit a special mention.) As this is being written, they are on performance number 2 of 2 that have sold out!!!! Get your tickets now, because they are FLYING and may not last long... for good reason.

Let's say ("theoretically") there might soon be an official group (dare I say club?) of alumni and community supporters for theatre endevors at UU... Would you join? AND, if so, what name would you give it? (It's possible such a thing is in the works and it's also possible such a thing might be responsible for an edgy summer show in August.) Better marketing is coming soon, BUT in the meantime... let's crowd source some names for this potential phenomenon! Current frontrunner is Pioneer Theatre Associates or the PTA (at UU). (Because you know you want to join the PTA even if you aren't a parent!) BUT maybe there's a better idea out there! (OR a better word for the A part of the acronym.)
