In 1 day, Crystal Clear auditions are happening!! Auditions will take place September 5th in the Strebel Auditorium at Utica University at 6 PM.

Before we have our auditions, we thought to share with you a list of characters that are in this musical!

🎵 TANYA - MEZZO-SOPRANO. A 24-year-old aquarist who is very caring and stands her ground. She has been in a committed relationship with Erica for 7 years.
🎵ERICA - ALTO or MEZZO-SOPRANO. A wild child, impulsive and possessive 24-year-old illustrator who loves her girlfriend tremendously.
🎵AUSTIN - TENOR. Tanya’s brief ex-boyfriend/rebound in college in his mid-20s. Left off on good terms and cares for Tanya. Currently works as a software developer and lives in a studio apartment in the same building where Erica lives.
🎵KIARA - MEZZO-SOPRANO. Tanya’s estranged older sister in her mid-20s. She is 6 months pregnant and wants a relationship with her sister again so that she will come to know her baby. Moved out a year ago.
🎵ELLIE - SOPRANO. Tanya’s coworker and best friend at the aquarium. 24 years old, bubbly and energetic, and supports her friend endlessly. Always honest with her.
🎵MASON - TENOR or BARITONE. Tanya’s boss of 3 years who thinks very highly of her. Recently promoted her to Junior Aquarist and values her hard work. Serious and stoic personality, but kind and caring nonetheless.
🎵GEORGIA - ALTO. Another coworker at the aquarium who tries very hard at her job. Competitive with the other coworkers, but harmless. Unintentionally funny.
🎵COWORKERS - ENSEMBLE (including GEORGIA and MOM/PANDORA). Coworkers at the aquarium who just really enjoy Marine Life. They also make appearances in scenes with Tanya and Erica.
🎵 MOM (VOICE) - Kiara and Tanya’s mother. Manipulated Tanya into believing that Kiara abandoned their family.
🎵PANDORA - Tanya’s older friend, mid-20s, from college who knew her and Erica.Note: PANDORA and MOM can be played by the same person.(May opt to include GEORGIA as well.)

It’s time to get ready because in 2 days Crystal Clear auditions are happening!! Auditons will take place Thursday, September 5th in the Strebel Auditorium at Utica University at 6 PM. We would prefer everyone to sing a song from an adjacent contemporary musical such as Dear Evan Hansen, Next to Normal, Heathers, Wicked or a song of your choice. Also, bring sheet music for our accompanist.
Auditions are open to all but there will be a certain amount of preference given to Utica University students

We want to take a moment to congratulate Cailee Blackington on her last year at Utica and for Pioneer Players!!

We want to thank her for all the work she has done throughout the years and especially the work she put in for President this past semester and her commitment to both the club and the multiple shows she has been in. We wish her nothing but the best!!
