Quick painting of The Long Walk,8x8 Golden Heavy Body acrylic on canvas, Stephen King’s first novel written but not published. He wrote as Richard Bachman due to publisher contraints at the time, advising to write only one novel per year to avoid saturating the market. This book is the precursor to the modern Hunger Games series, but with all of its humanity packed into one book. There are 100 walkers and only one will live and win. But do any of them really win? Loved the book and movie which ended differently but still true to Stephen King form.
