Arts in the Middle Arts in the Middle Fine Arts Festival, held annually the weekend following Memorial Day weekend, at Hewick Plantation, Urbanna, VA.

Voted a "Best of VA" Art Event. Arts in the Middle, held annually the weekend AFTER Memorial Day, is made possible by a grant from the Virginia Commission of the Arts and the County of Middlesex. It is funded by the Town of Urbanna, Virginia Commission for the Arts, Middlesex County and Arts in the Middle Foundation. Call for Artist Entries

stival. The venue is Hewick Plantation, a 17th century plantation located in the Chesapeake Bay region of the Middle Peninsula of Virginia. Located just outside Urbanna, VA, a quaint waterside village. Artist applications are submitted via zapplication.org. Festival Features
A Fine Arts Festival in a scenic location with live music, Hospitality and Champagne tents, local and student artist tents, literary tent and much more. Free admission and adjacent parking to plantation grounds.

As another incredible festival comes to a close, we are filled with gratitude for the many people who made this weekend such a success.

Thank you to our generous donors and sponsors whose support helps bring Arts in the Middle to life each year.

Thank you to our talented artists and musicians who shared their creativity, passion, and gifts with our community.

Thank you to our dedicated volunteers who gave their time, energy, and countless hours to ensure everything ran smoothly.

And a special thank you to our hardworking planning committee and festival team whose months of preparation made this wonderful weekend possible.

The tents are up, the finishing touches are underway, and artists are beginning to move in for12th Annual Arts in the Middle Fine Arts Festival !

After months of planning, it's exciting to watch the festival grounds transform as artists unpack their work, set up their booths, and prepare to share their creativity with our community. Every display tells a story, and every artist brings something unique to this special weekend.

The energy is building, the artwork is arriving, and we're getting ready to welcome thousands of art lovers to beautiful Urbanna.

We can't wait to open the festival and celebrate another incredible year of art, music, food, and community together!
