New year, new offering! 2020 3-card overview, $10!

All readers have specific skill areas where they excel, one of mine is timelines - anything to do with when something will happen or what to expect during a certain period of time.

I have done these readings for decades, and now I am offering them online to raise money to support a trans member of my community in raising funds for their top surgery!

Here's how it works: $10, **3** cards that give an overview of what your 2020 will be like, what the big themes will be to watch out for. You'll get a picture of your cards and 3-4 paragraph interpretation written expressly for you within 48 hours. The reading will be sent to you via e-mail or FB messenger, if you prefer.

I'll accept payment via Cash$ app or Venmo only to make doing the readings and donating the funds easy and seamless. My goal is to do a minimum of 10 readings/donate $100 and I will cap the offering at 30 readings/$300 donated.

Thank you to everyone who's been reaching out about private readings! I only have capacity to do private readings in certain windows of the year, mostly late fall/early winter, due to my awesome and demanding day job, so I will not be offering private readings for the foreseeable future. If you tried to schedule with me this winter and we did not quite pull it off due to illness, etc I apologize we missed each other.

***Keep an eye on this page for two things - future charity reading events (in the fall) aaaaand possibly some limited seating tarot exploration events!

"Do you do tarot readings outside of events?"

I've gotten about half a dozen questions like this since the Vintage Karma charity event I did last week, thanks so much for asking!

I am open to one-on-one reading appointments. A couple things to keep in mind as you're considering if you'd like a reading with me:

1) I do not have a place in my home where I do readings, so we'd need to meet in a public space or your home. This space would need to be in C-U.
2) My rates for charity events are *low* so I can get as many sign ups as possible as fast as possible and raise money for the cause I want to throw my support behind. Charity event rate: $20 a half hour. Regular rate: $35 a half hour, $60 an hour.
3) Why is it more? Because when I do a charity event I just donate it all and don't have to deal with taxes, filings, etc. When I do readings as a business I have to function as a business and there's all that pesky tax stuff and time to track, file, etc income.
4) My schedule is pretty limited during many seasons of the year because I travel a great deal for my work, but if you want a reading with me we can absolutely find a time.

Thank you again for all the interest in my work. I am hoping to have up a website by this spring if interest continues.

I always prep to do a tarot event by choosing clothing and special scents that get me in the right head space. I had a particularly great timing reading at the Vintage Karma event yesterday, the cards and words were just flowing so well, and I give some of the credit to the incredible aromatherapy oil I used to anoint my throat and third eye before beginning - Lucid Dreaming from Kamala's Own Magickal and Mundane Perfumery. This oil is intended to specifically enhance the dream state, but I find it very effective for getting into the "zone" as a tarot reader too.

Wow, thank you so much to everyone who came out today to the Vintage Karma tarot event and kept me booked solid all day - together VK and I raised $400 for two of our favorite causes in the region! $200 will be donated to FirstFollowers Champaign-Urbana and $200 will be donate to the Macon County Youth Pride! I always love doing these events but the people at VK are *the best* to work with, they made the event so easy and successful, I'm looking forward to partnering with them again in the future for events!

The moon is waning right now, half way between full and new. The moon is also in Virgo tonight, until around 7am Sunday.

The tarot card of Virgo is the Hermit, the moon is our emotional state in general, and waning moon is a time for discernment, decrease, removing, focusing, paring down.

Tonight, on a physical level, is an excellent time to stay in and clean, sort, box up to donate. It's also a great time to hang out solo and journal, outline plans, discern wants, and decide what does and does not deserve your energy. Moon in Virgo has a brutally honest tongue, though, so while conversations with loved ones tonight can clear the air, they can easily hurt feelings too.

I love the Hermit vibe and plan to enjoy a quiet evening sketching out plans for remodeling work in the house we're closing on Tuesday!

Hello all! Thank you for all the reach outs about when my next reading event will be, I'm feeling the love! I have one event scheduled with the great folks at Vintage Karma this month, it's a charity event we're doing together to support two amazing causes: FirstFollowers Champaign-Urbana and Macon County Youth Pride. I cannot be more excited about the charities our work will support! The event filled up within 48 hours, though, so I did not post it here, my apologies!

When will my next event be? I only do tarot events about quarterly to raise money for charities/causes. I'm not, at this time, in this as a business as I've got a demanding day job already so I just can't fit in more. As soon as I have a spring event planned I'll list it here first, I'll plan in a 48 hour first dibs period for my Web Weaver fans! ;)

I have had some questions about whether I'd do parties for pre-teens, teens, and adults. I use to do these, over a decade ago, perhaps someone heard through the grapevine about these? I am willing to consider these but my availability is spotty so if you want to talk possibilities reach out as early as possible. Thank you!

The early waxing moon brings a burst of fertile energy, it's the perfect time to plant your intentions for the month. What seed now grows, what will you seed?

The Spiral tarot cards I just threw for some guidance on what intentions to set now for the healthiest growth through this moon cycle suggest this is a good time for me to get stronger at pulling apart my emotions from my actions and looking at both clearly so I can come from a place of power rather than knee jerk reactions that decrease my power. Very astute, cards. Definitely something I could use more work on.

We're mere days from the dark of the moon, still in the last throws if the waning moon. Waning moon is the time to examine what you need to release and let go of to make room to plant new intentions at the new moon. What ideas, patterns, obsessions do you need to release?

The princess of disks tells me I'm too fixated on what I'm creating have concrete results, it's time to shift the idea that the results of all efforts must be measurable and conventional during this upcoming moon. That feels right, I'll be taking that wisdom with me tonight into my dreams.
