Congratulations!

We said our farewells to Ms. JASMINE O'CONNOR as she left to pursue a professional dance career with MODERN AMERICAN DANCE COMPANY (MADCO).

Jasmine has been with us since our first year, as a student, then as a teacher.
Her endless patience and tenderness captivated our students, parents and staff.
Her drive for excellence in anything she does inspired us all.
While we will dearly miss Ms. Jasmine, we are all so happy for her and wish her all the best!

Continuing our tradition to honor our students when they leave to study dance and pursue a professional dance career, today we mention HOPE PISARCZYK.
We said our farewells as she left to be part of the CINCINNATI BALLET Training Program.
Hope's perseverance, work ethic and focus led her to this great achievement and we are all so proud of her!

As a tradition, every time one of our students leave to study dance and pursue a professional dance career, we honor that with a social media post.
This year, we said our farewells to LILLY BRADLEY, as she left to attend the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, High School program.
Lilly is naturally talented and her energy on the dance floor is completely infectious. We are sure that she will thrive.
We are all so proud of Lilly and we wish her all the best!

Dance Theatre of Illinois (DTI) is proud to announce the upcoming “Peter and The Wolf” Ballet, presented by the Historic Fischer Theatre, Danville, IL

The performances will take place on October 9th and 10th, 2026 at the Historic Fischer Theatre, Danville, IL.

Actors and dancers needed!

Detailed information as follows:

Audition Date: Saturday, August 22

Audition Times:

·         AGES 7 to 12 - No Ballet Experience Required: 4:30 to 5:30 PM

·         AGES 13 and OLDER - Ballet Experience Required: 5:30 to 6:30 PM

·         ACTORS AGE 13 and OLDER: 6:30 to 7:00 PM

PROFESSIONAL DANCERS:

Compensation offered.
Please contact us to make arrangements for in person audition, or send a video of a ballet class, rehearsal or live performance taken within the past six months.

Audition Cost: Free of Charge

Join our Pre-Professional Ballet Program for real results.

This program is designed to give students a stronger understanding of classical ballet technique while also presenting numerous opportunities for those seeking a professional career or for those simply passionate about perfecting the dance art form.

Students enrolled in our Pre-Professional Ballet Program have been invited to attend summer intensives and full academic year at some of the best ballet schools in the world, such as the Paris Opera Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School, School of American Ballet, Colorado Ballet Academy, School of Philadelphia Ballet and others.

Throughout the years, our Pre-Professional Ballet Program has also led students into professional dance careers and has helped many to succeed in different paths.

The skills dancers learn of concentration, teamwork, respect for others and voluntarily challenging their limits, directly apply to most any career.

We are accepting new students, ages 7 to 21.
