It’s tiiiime!! After a series of soft openings, tender transitions, and months of preparation, I’m excited to open for business and invite people in to make their own RUGS!!

GRAND OPENING: Saturday, 2/28 • 9am–5pm

What High in Fiber has in store:
• Tabletop tufting stations (x6) and one BIG frame
• Various workshops ft. guest instructors
• Retail with a fiber focus and handmade goods
• Vintage clothing and home decor

BIG things are in the works for High in Fiber—I’m pursuing my dream of opening a rug tufting studio/storefront in in Urbana, IL!!

Soon you’ll be able to take a rug tufting workshop and MAKE YOUR OWN RUGS!! This space will also host guest workshops for other fiber arts and beyond, as well as offer a retail space for local artists and curated handmade goodies.

GRAND OPENING: Saturday, December 6, 2025 ✂️

OPENING RECEPTION
Friday, 2/7 • 6–9pm
Analog Wine Library • 129 N Race St. • Urbana, IL

Come see a variety of fiber art techniques and mediums represented across 30+ unique pieces.
rugs will be leading a rug tufting demo—learn how to use a tufting gun and contribute to a community rug mural ✨

Light snacks provided. Wine, beer, and NA options available for purchase at the bar.

And our first workshop of the month:
PILL-OWS: Sew a Soft Sculpture with

Choose fabric, cut shapes, embroider details, sew together, & stuff your medication of choice.

All materials will be provided, but if you have special fabrics you’d like to incorporate, please bring them.
