We are often asked by you wonderful people on how you can help, well, we really could use some help with marketing and some of the business aspects of the theater. We had a theatre professor at Urbana University that once said, "if you fail, fail big." I'd say our attempt to acquire a building has been a pretty big failure.

Thank you to everyone who believed in us and supported us, both via our gofundme and by attending our cabaret. Neither were very successful, but we have endless appreciation for those that joined us.

Trying to start a theatre like ours in Urbana has been a fight since day one, and I'm starting to wonder if it is one we will ever win...

Either way, I promise you, The Perennial Theatre isn't going to disappear. We may lay low for awhile, but we will be back. I have no idea when, or even where, but I do know theatre is too important to give up on.
