"Handel’s Messiah remains one of the most enduring and beloved works in the choral repertoire, offering a profound synthesis of musical beauty and spiritual reflection. In collaboration with the University of Illinois Choirs under the direction of Andrea Solya, Sinfonia da Camera presents this monumental work with a distinguished roster of soloists: soprano Ollie Watts Davis, mezzo-soprano Thereza Lituma, tenor John Swedberg, and bass Ricardo Herrera."

Tomorrow night, Sinfonia takes you to a galaxy far, far away…💫

We’re thrilled to headline the ILLIAC at Hessel Park tomorrow, August 22, with a program packed with adventure, unforgettable melodies, and plenty of orchestral fireworks. 🎇

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of Star Wars, we are bringing legendary music of John Williams’ Star Wars Suite to life under the stars. We’ll also journey from the sweeping Romantic drama of Liszt’s Les Préludes to the thrilling suspense of Grieg’s “In the Hall of the Mountain King.”And we’ll close the evening with Tchaikovsky’s spectacular 1812 Overture with live cannons 🎻💥
