When creation fables meet Two stop-motion films by Elizabeth Phelps derived from two trios by composer Robert Pound.

Elizabeth Phelps is a freelance writer, puppeteer, and assemblage artist. Frequently collaborating with her husband, Alden Phelps, she uses paper and paint, fabric, found objects, and clay to make art in a wide variety of media and forms: songs & music, video & stop-motion
animation, drawings, paintings, and sculpture. Elizabeth comes to stop-motion animation via live puppetry, theater, and film.

Past work includes projects with organizations as varied as the Smithsonian Institution, Maryland Public Television, NYC Pooch, the EvoLution Contemporary Music Series, The Poulenc trio, and the National Museum of Dentistry.
