Have you popped into Upper Lake California recently? New life is happening on Main Street, flowers are blooming on the sidewalk barrels, and weeds have been pulled in the flower beds , just in time to welcome Spring. The theme for Sherry Harris Art Gallery and Gifts for April is, " Spring has Sprung " . Sherry and I, have both been working extra hard to bring a fresh new life with lots of new paintings, jewelry, gourd art, and displays. This small town USA has some truly wonderful shops, restaurants, coffee shop, Antique and Thrifting. Come say hello at 9485 Main St. Suite 3 , Friday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm. - and open by appt.

This girl is dancin the happy dance here in Sherry Harris Art Gallery and Gifts shop !! Spring has Sprung, and my original paintings are flying off the wall today, and magnets too. Downtown Upper Lake California has actually had pretty good business this morning overall, even though the weather is gloomy, which is very nice. I sold my acrylic original - 12x12 "Sassy" the cat, 4x4 Purple Flowers acrylic on canvas, 6x6 Bird of Paradise original acrylic painting magnet, framed 5x7 Sunflowers and blinged Bee, original acrylic. Most special to me was how much these customers really took time to look over the collection offered. These kinds of sales are always the Wind Beneath my Wings to press on in the Direction of My Dreams!! Let me introduce myself. I am Pam Blohm, of Pam Blohm Designs. I have been a crafter since I was a child. My maiden name was Pam West , born and raised in Napa , California. I was a long time resident of Middletown California in South Lake County, where I was known as Pam Mills. I raised my where I raised my 2 kids, Amber Walker and Chad J Miles in Hidden Valley, and a long time member of The Middletown United Methodist Church. I became Pamela Blohm after a marriage, a took up art, in late 2014, and had a first gallery showing in Lower Lake California in August 2015, after I retired from Lake County Department of Social Services, were I was a Employment and Training worker, and Supervisor. The Valley Fire in 2015 came and turned my world upside down, when art became a lifeline to cope with all that transpired in my life, and so many of my friends and family. I opened a gallery in my studio in Middletown, at my home in Big Canyon . I began showing my art throughout Lake and Mendocino in 2017, and was well prepared for my second largest show of my life at Mendocino Botanical Gardens in 2020 , when we all know what happened that year. I opened my personal gallery collection at Mountain Meadow Venue in Cobb California, in the Pro Shop there, until tragedy, and discourse, ended my marriage, and my gallery there. I moved to Ukiah California for 1 year , and then to Upper Lake California. All the while, I continued on my journey as a full time artist, always pushing forward, and carving out some area of my current life as a artist, to have a studio space to progress with my hearts passion to create artwork, ever exploring new mediums. I had a Etsy online businesses for 13 years of this journey of a thousand miles. And this brings me to 2026 , when in January, I was invited to join Sherry Harris Gallery and Gifts in Upper Lake California, along with her husband Derek, aka, @ Rojaxart. I now have a gallery collection available at 9495 Main St.Suite 3 . Open Friday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm Spring and Summer. I have moved back to Ukiah in March, but remain in this gallery. Come meet with me , in person this Friday, or by scheduled appointment.

On Saturday, I met up with my daughter Amber Walker , for a first outing to the Farmers Market, here in Ukiah. We took a side visit to a local "going out of business" store, and was very happy they were offering their small, spinning, well made , Card Rack for sale !!! And a great price. This piece is going to be a great addition to Sherry Harris Gallery and Gifts , as we have a much more appealing way to showcase our collection of Handmade Greeting and Note Cards! I was very excited by this find !! This month, of April , we kicked off with a new Theme , Spring has Sprung , and we are happy to welcome you to come see our beautiful treasures being offered in our "Shop on Main ". 9495 Main St. to be exact, downtown Upper Lake California. Open hours will soon be announced ,as Open Friday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm.. I will be at the Gallery this coming Friday, April 10 at 11am , and will stay open until 5pm. Sherry will host Saturday and Sunday. If the weather is nice, I plan to move my artist magnets, and small art , outside , for a sidewalk sale.. only a 30 minute drive from Ukiah, if you are up for a visit to see our new offerings. We all have Dream we hope to have come true, and finding my creativity on canvas is a dream I never know was in me, but somehow God did. Painting art became a meditation practice to still my heart , mind, body, and soul, after the Valley Fire ravaged the 250 acres where I lived, my neighborhood, my county. Painting art is now a my passion ✨️ Having a Gallery space offered to me is absolutely a dream come true. And now the hard part, is getting the word out, to encourage shoppers to come to Main St. In Upper Lake California, to see what businesses struggle to stay in business on this difficult economy. Here are just a few of the new artwork I have to offer Sherry Harris Gallery and Gifts@ 9495 Main St. SUITE 3. Open weekly Friday to Sunday, Noon to 4pm always by appt. Longer hours happening soon as Spring actually begins to bloom. This unique Gallery has been in business for more years than I know, starting first, as Diego Harris Art Gallery, and I think the past 13 years, by Nature and Gourd Artist, Sherry Harris , including her husband, Derek Harris @ Rojaxart. A talented family that has been a absolute Blessing to Lake County Community! Sherry is open today and tomarrow, Easter Sunday . Just 30 Minutes from my new home in Ukiah.

Spring has Sprung with fresh flowers and flower paintings!! This month I am very excited to have all of these new designs finally finished. Each painting is now sealed, packaged, and priced between $10 and $18. Many of these originals, will become available as magnets and notecards, and once sold , may become a matted print. I have a new large magnet board ready to display artist magnets currently in stock from previous designs. Having sold over 3000 paintings, in my past 12 years as a artist, choosing my favorite 100 paintings to become magnets, is not easy. Always offerings each as limited editions. I am gearing up for this Coming Friday, April 3, to bring these original acrylic paintings to the Sherry Harris Gallery and Gifts, where my wall of paintings have been since January this year. I will be taking down, and replacing, many pieces of those artworks, and updated them with new paintings , and a larger magnet board. I will be in person at the gallery all day from noon to 4pm. (Open * additional hours by appointment if your coming to Upper Lake California. This unique Gallery host one if a kind nature art, basket weavings, a large selection of handmade nature jewelry , and so much more, all handcrafted by a master nature artist Sherry Harris. Also on display are the masterpieces paintings of her husband @ Rojaxart. Pop in during our weekly business hours of Friday to Sunday, Noon to 4pm. What do I love ❤️ about being a Artist ? First and foremost is that is absolutely the best way to shut off my brain from thought. My form of Meditation on some level. When the world disappears, and I can sink into color magic. I am always so suprised to see what I have created. This is 2 hours gone from 7:30 am to 9:20 am. Layers of Gouache' paints applied to cardboard canvases. Far from done, but coming to life. Several years ago , my daughter gifted me a set of these paints, I had never tried before. Kinda a love- hate to begin with, as they are a bit like acrylic, a bit like Watercolor. Now, the more I play with them, the more I like them. A perfect way to create new design concepts, I will either make as artist magnets, notecards, even larger paintings with acrylic paints in the future. Feeling very blessed to have a large and quiet table space to work, while I work with my sweet charges under my feet. These pieces will be finished by this afternoon, sealed tomorrow, packaged for sale at Sherry Harris Gallery on Friday, March 3, where you can find a large new collection on display 😀 a absolute joy for my heart ❤️ Joy is my word for 2026, which kicked off with Sherry's personal invitation to join her, and her husband , in a gallery space their have presented theirs art in Upper Lake California for the past 13 years. And their son, Diego, was there before that. A extremely talented family!!! Sherry is a master at Nature art , and her husband creates Colorful Large Art. This is my personal invitation to come check out the one of a kind, and Unique offerings, at 9495 Main St. Suite 3. Open by Appt always, and to the public , Friday to Sunday, from noon to 4pm. Just sayin. Loving my days of play with Gouache Paints, on my handmade cardboard canvases. Best practice to get myself back in the swing of my style for my art. "Live in the moment", felt like the best sentence for this beautiful design ❤️ will add this one to my gallery collection in when I get back there on April 3.
