The Bro-mantics

03/07/2023

The Bro-mantics are no longer active. It's been nearly 4 years since we've played a show and it's time that we actively move on.

We want to THANK the fans who came to our shows. You guys made this adventure so amazing!

We want to thanks all of the other bands that we were fortunate enough to share a stage or show with. We are humbled by your support!

And I (Will) want to thank anyone who ever danced with, sang along with or just vibed with our music. This band was a dream come true for me. I started this whole thing with a desire to play music with people who I truly loved and enjoyed spending hours, days, weeks and years with. The Bro-mantics was always meant to be the most fun band of every show. I only wanted people to cheer for us because they GENUINELY enjoyed how we made them feel with our music.

THANK YOU!
WE LOVE YOU
WE THANK YOU
MUCH LOVE!

RIP SKA LEGEND! Prayers to his family!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing, following a brief illness, of Terry, our beautiful friend, brother and one of the most brilliant singers, songwriters and lyricists this country has ever produced.
Terry was a wonderful husband and father and one of the kindest, funniest, and most genuine of souls. His music and his performances encapsulated the very essence of life… the joy, the pain, the humour, the fight for justice, but mostly the love.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him and leaves behind the gift of his remarkable music and profound humanity.
Terry often left the stage at the end of The Specials’ life-affirming shows with three words… “Love Love Love”

We would ask that everyone respect the family’s privacy at this very sad time.🖤

We'd be 7 years if you count practicing, 5 years if you count as performing!

🏁👨🏻‍🦳TOO MUCH TOO OLD👵🏼🏁
We posted something similar to this a couple of years ago and I think there are some Ska fans still getting over it. 😅
Unfortunately, there is no reversing time… just the opportunity to enjoy the music and the bands that are still active today (maximum respect)… and be open to the next generation of Ska bands keeping the beat going. Skank on!🏁

We always love playing the Gettysburg Rocks event and seeing how many folks come out to help raise money for Four Diamonds. If you normally come see our shows, would you consider making a donation this year or at least helping us spread the word for a good cause by sharing the original post? We can't wait to be playing live music again at great events like this in our area. Miss you all.

We know everyone is excited, and even Bernie is axiously waiting for our next Gettysburg Rocks event to begin. Unfortunately we will not be having our next one until August.
Our friends at Penn State Mont Alto are still participating in the Virtual THON to raise money for Four Diamonds, and they need our help more than ever. Gettysburg Rocks has been a big part of their fundraising efforts for the past 7 years. If you are able, please consider donating through their donor drive page. https://donate.thon.org/?fuseaction=donorDrive.event&eventID=2207
Thank You and please stay safe and healthy.

Dear Friends, I hope you are all healthy and safe! We miss you so much and cannot wait until we can entertain you again!
But in the mean time, the hour has come for action. I'll not use this platform for anything reflecting my own opinions and many of you know that is hard for me because I'm a passionate person. But I implore you to please get out and vote, vote early, mail it in, whatever way you feel is best for you.
Take care and be safe!

Anyone have a good plexiglass guy? lol 🤪 🎷🎺🏁🕴🏼

Ska band horn sections are required to perform behind a plexiglass when concerts resume.
Source says “have you ever been to a ska show? There’s too much spit!”

Dear Friends! It has been a long time, no? We are here! We haven't fallen into the great abyss or off the edge of the flat earth!
We're coming back, we promise! We miss you!
Just be patient!

Hey friends! It's been a little while since you've heard from us!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But I wanted to let everyone know that we are gonna be on a hiatus for a short while. We're going to finish our album, get new stuff written and get ourselves ready to return in 2020!

Be on the lookout for announcements!

Love you all!
