Artist's Statement
"My art changed me from within. While reading Power vs. Force, by David R.

I paint because it opens my soul to the love, joy, gratitude and compassion I feel for myself and others!" I currently live in Oceanside California with my husband, Emmett, and our dog, Sadie. I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Theology from Saint Catherine University and I continued my education, graduating Cum Laude with a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Laws degree in taxation from William Mitchell College of Law. As a true student of life, I then went on to receive a Master of Arts in Spiritual Psychology with an Emphasis in Consciousness, Health, and Healing from the University of Santa Monica. A lifelong artist at heart, it was during this Master’s program that I reawakened my love of painting while embracing my relationship with the written word. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D, inspiration struck! My “Change With Integrity Art Project” was born. My goal with this project was to encourage awareness within ourselves of contrasting human patterns that can either keep us stuck or help us rise up. Since we all learn and perceive differently in this world, my hope in communication of these ideas through my eyes and the heart of an artist can give new life to these age old wisdoms. After my Change with Integrity Art Project was completed I continued on my new path as an artist. My current work reflects the joyful colors and patterns I experience throughout my life. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoyed creating it.
