Scared Scriptless Improv Alaska's longest running and most experienced comedy improv troupe! Regularly performing at 49th State Brewing and The Nave. We also offer classes and workshops.

Scared Scriptless has been bringing live locally sourced comedy goodness to Alaska for over 25 years and we're not stopping any time soon! There's absolutely nothing quite like our particular brand of rapid fire, short form improv comedy madness anywhere else in the state! Our scenes are prompted by our audience and may contain adult themes. Once you see it for yourself, you'll understand why we're Alaska's longest running comedy troupe.

Happy June! Here's a peek at what's coming up:

✨June 01: "IMPROV LEVEL 1: FUNDAMENTALS OF IMPROV" presented by Scared Scriptless. This 6-week course will introduce beginners (ages 16+) to the concepts and skills used in improv performance. Sign up at scaredscriptless.com.
✨June 02: "FIREWEED LANE REHABILITATION OPEN HOUSE #2.". This project proposes to rehabilitate Fireweed Lane from Spenard Rd to the Seward Hwy. Come learn, ask questions, and share comments directly with the project team. 5:00-7:00 pm.
✨June 03 - "COMMUNITY CAFE" Open Mic & Jam Session hosted by Anchorage Concert Association. This series brings our veteran, military, and music community together! Let's connect, have fun, play some music, or share your art. 6:00-7:30pm.
✨June 04 - "ALASKA INNOCENCE PROJECT SPRING FUNDRAISER:" At age 17, Jeffrey Deskovic was wrongfully convicted. Released after 16 years, he had to start life again. He is now an attorney, educator, and advocate for the innocent. Join us at The Nave to hear his story, with dining and refreshments provided. 5:30-7:30pm. Tickets at alaskainnocenceproject.org.
✨June 06 - "AUTHENTICALLY AND UNAPOLOGETICALLY US: PRIDE EDITION" presented by Drag For A Cause.This electrifying show celebrates the beauty of living authentically and embracing every part of who we are—loud, proud, and completely unstoppable. ✨June 07 - "PULSE AND PRESENCE: CHURCH OF LOVE AT THE NAVE" presented by Spenard Jazzfest. This curated, sensory experience will include a full day of live music, movement, improvisation, healing-centered practices, and community gathering. Learn more at spenardjazzfest.org.
✨June 12 - "INDIGEQUEER OPEN MIC" presented by Native Movement. You're invited to a free, family-friendly gathering with live performances, refreshments, activities, and free book giveaway! 5:30-8:00pm, free admission.
✨June 26 - "SCARED SCRIPTLESS IMPROV COMEDY SHOW" - Anchorage's longest-running improv company is back at The Nave for a mainstage show. Using audience suggestions, these brave comedians will perform daring acts of improvisation! Tickets: scaredscriptless.com
