Charlize Theron isn't holding back on her tech predictions, and Timothée Chalamet is the latest name in the AI crosshairs. 🏛️🤖

During a recent industry panel, the Oscar winner called his recent comments about the ballet and opera "reckless" and dropped a truth bomb that sent the internet into a frenzy. When discussing the rapid evolution of digital performances, Charlize mused, “In 10 years, AI is going to be able to do Timothée Chalamet’s job.” It wasn’t a dig at his talent, but rather a warning about how sophisticated synthetic acting is becoming. 🏗️✨

Charlize’s comments touch on a massive debate currently rocking Hollywood: the line between "soulful" acting and digital perfection. Oh Timmy…. Timmy, Timmy, Timmy…. A Japanese proverb that’s been around for more than 400 years says:
“We’re fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance.”

Dance and opera have both survived for centuries, so clearly someone cares.

So whether one chooses to be foolish in their opinions (cough cough… meow) or foolish enough to try something new in the arts… something crafted, nuanced, structured, vulnerable, and requiring a lifetime of dedication to make it a profession, the choice seems pretty obvious.

And since you know the ballet world through your own family, I’d hope you have a publicist brave enough to send you to a dance class someday.

Meet dancers of all ages.
Tell them those thoughts to their faces.

Who knows, you might even learn what it feels like to be a true artist.

One who respects other people’s craft.

Whatever you celebrate, we are deeply thankful for you and for being part of The Dancer Project family.

As this year comes to a close, we hope you find moments of togetherness, quiet reflection, and memory-making magic—the kind that stays with you long after the season passes.
