Our Youth & Teen Summer Intensives are filling up. Spots are limited!

These two-week ceramics intensives are designed for ages 11–13 and 13-17 with busy summer schedules and offer a supportive space to slow down, create, and connect.

Perfect for both beginners and returning students:
• Beginners will learn the fundamentals of the pottery wheel
• Experienced students will build intermediate and advanced skills

Our four-week Mindful Raku class is back for another session! We will meet Sundays in January from 12-3pm, where we will learn all about making and firing Raku pottery including multiple opportunities to fire work throughout the course. Includes access to open studio time. Only two spots left!

Calling all enthusiasts of atmospheric firing (or those who are curious but have never tried)!🔥

Join us for Mindful Raku, a four-week class that blends mindfulness practice with the art of raku firing. We will learn how to create forms for this firing type and will have multiple opportunities throughout the class to fire our work.

This class is best suited for folks who have some prior clay experience (either wheel throwing or handbuilding).

Sundays, 12-3pm, starting November 30.

Our teen ceramics program is designed to foster creativity, exploration, and connection for youth ages 12-17 in a supportive and friendly community.

There are no grades or exams in our teen classes - just guidance and support from our experienced instructors that will equip teens with foundational pottery skills while encouraging them to follow their creative practice anywhere they can dream up.

At Elemental Studios, our mission is to build community around arts education and wellness practices, and our passion is ceramic arts.

Foundations of Ceramics: Creativity & Flexibility is ceramics class for adults that combines pottery fundamentals with the science and practice of creative exploration.

This class is a great choice for total beginners who want to try out a variety of pottery techniques, and can also accommodate folks with clay experience who are looking to expand their ceramics practice.

Two sessions are starting soon:

Wednesdays, 9am-12pm
October 29 - December 17 (no class on 11/26)

OR

Thursdays, 6pm-9pm
October 30 - December 18 (no class on 11/27)

PLEASE NOTE that the fall sessions of this course will run for 7 weeks instead of 8 weeks. The price and curriculum have been adjusted accordingly.
