Happy September!

September's doughnut flavors are here and I'm officially opening pre-orders! Since I’ll be out of town this weekend and then getting ready for Second Saturday the following weekend, I wanted to give everyone plenty of time to get their orders in. 🤎

On the menu:

🍎 Freshly Milled Apple C***r Doughnuts –
Classic cake-style apple c***r doughnuts made with freshly milled soft white wheat, fried in organic coconut oil and coated in cinnamon sugar.

🍏 Freshly Milled Apple Fritters –
Apple-filled fritters made with freshly milled flour, orchard apples, and fried until golden. Finished with a sweet vanilla glaze.

Both will be freshly made and ready on Friday, September 18.

Help Me Pick! 👀

I’m starting to plan out my menu for the next Second Saturday! I have most of the bread flavors picked out (classic, chocolate chip, Italian herb & cheese, etc) but I want your help choosing the last couple!

A few of these I haven’t made in a long time and would love to bring back… but it’s up to you!

Yall loved the doughnuts last time, so I'm bringing them back!

🌿 A new addition to Nature’s Proof! 🌿

I’m happy to introduce oregano oil to the Nature’s Proof lineup!

When there was no longer an oregano oil available at Quarterfield Markets, the owners reached out and asked if I’d be willing to create one for the market. I was happy to take on the opportunity - it’s always special when a product comes from something customers are looking for.

Made with organic oregano and organic extra virgin olive oil, Nature’s Proof Oregano Oil is now available at Quarterfield Markets! 🌿

These are made with organic, freshly milled whole grain flour and have that soft, wholesome flavor so many of you loved the last time.

Since I won't be able to make it to this month's Second Saturday at Quarterfield Markets I'm doing my very first Hotplate drop!

One thing I'm especially excited about is that Virginia's updated cottage food law now allows home bakeries like mine to accept online payments, making preorders so much easier than before. I'm looking forward to using this new option with you all!

I also made my last batch of Black Walnut Salve until black walnuts are back in season this fall. If it's something you've been wanting to try or stock up on, now is the time—once these are gone, they won't be back until the trees are ready again.
