Recap of Wednesday night:

We struggled most of the day trying to make adjustments and slowly got the car where we needed it. The heat race we struggled but managed to get the car into 2nd putting us in 3rd for the start of the feature. The car was better than where it was most of the day and managed to grab the lead halfway through the race unfortunately didn’t have enough to seal the deal and fought side by side for the last half of the race for the lead. In the end we got edged out but no disappointment from us after the struggles we had earlier in the day. We’re back at it again this Sunday at The New London-Waterford Speedbowl to see if we can get that one spot better.

Update from this past week:

Wednesday was a double feature for us to make up a missed race a few weeks ago. As we weren’t there the night of the initial race we had to start in the back of the pack, lining up 17th out of 18 cars. The race brought a few cautions and luckily we were able to avoid them all and slowly pick off cars and ended the race in a strong 4th.
The second feature was a little less work starting from 9th but traffic was a bit tougher to manage and ended the race in 5th. As with the last few races, the car had more in it than the finishes we ended up with but consistency and the car in one piece is nothing to be disappointed with at the end of the night.

Lastly I’d like to thank everyone who helps make this possible for us:

Wednesday night was another solid outing for us. Started the feature from 9th and worked our way up to finish 5th. Car came away with a few scratches and dents but nothing we can’t have fixed for our next race, June 26th!

As always thanks to those who help us:

Solid night to start the Wednesday season, salvaged a 5th place finish on what could’ve been a disappointing race after some early race adversity. We rolled it back in the shop with some nose damage but we have a few weeks to get it back to normal and make the car a bit faster. On a positive note we received the 2023 Super X rookie of the year award today. We’ll be back Wednesday June 12th to try our luck again!
