Type Deux Weddings is about type 2 fun. The kind that feels big, emotional, and meaningful while it’s happening, then becomes something you treasure forever. We are artists first. Our goal is not to collect images, but to create art that feels honest, intentional, and lasting.

Whether it’s an intimate elopement in the mountains or a classic wedding day close to home, we work hard to make artwork you genuinely love living with. This Mount Whitney elopement in California is one example of that approach. Wedding photography and film rooted in storytelling, emotion, and craft.

Your wedding should be remembered like a movie.

There's nothing better than looking back on your big day and feeling like you and your partner were the main characters in a love story. That is exactly what I try to do when I tell your story. I capture everything that happens and put the pieces together as if it was it was a way cooler version of The Notebook.

Would you want to get married underneath a waterfall on Maui?

this waterfall in the rainforest provided such an epic backdrop for these photos of Jake & Savannah! We started with some fun photos in their Island formal clothes, but the session soon turned into the couple jumping in the water to cool off.

Have you ever dreat about shooting your engagement photos in a hot spring??

I have definitely dreamt about photographing them at this exact spot and I can't believe that we had it all to ourselves!

Jacqui & Anthony were so incredibly fun to shoot with and this hot spring engagement session was the perfect way to celebrate their love!

Just popping in to say hi! This is the first time I’ve ever posted my face on this page outside of stories! My name is Tyler! I’m the one in the middle and the guy behind the lens here at Nomadiq Aperture!

The fine people on my left and right are Nick Coulter and Cheyenne Arrington!

Nick is an incredibly talented videographer who I work with often! Nick and I have been friends for a long time and work together collaboratively on your wedding day to make sure you get an incredible experience and even better captures. It is always wise to hire a photographer and videographer that work together so that they are not competing for shots! The day is about YOU and your love, which is best captured by people who understand each other’s workflows!

The woman on the right is Cheyenne! She is an up and coming photographer who I had the pleasure of hiring as a second shooter on this 3 day Indian wedding! Despite it being all of our first times shooting a south Asian wedding, she took charge and made sure to get the shots that were needed so that I could focus on creating magic with the couple and delivering the best possible experience. She did an amazing job!

I don’t post as frequently as I should here on Instagram, but you can chalk that up to me being good at taking photos and bad at social media 😅 I’m glad I was able to introduce myself and part of my team.
