Habibe Kocak is a Turkish-born artist based in Greensboro, NC, specializing in Turkish marbling (Ebru) and illumination (Tezhip). With over four years of study, she continues her classical apprenticeship as an ijazah student in both disciplines, working with traditional pigments and historically rooted methods from the Ottoman tradition.
Through workshops across the United States, she shares these art forms, highlighting both their craftsmanship and cultural context.”

Hanane Jamili is an abstract mixed-media artist based in Raleigh, NC. Working with layered materials and texture, her practice is influenced by faith, resilience, and personal history. She has presented solo and group exhibitions, her work is held in collections worldwide, and has been featured in magazines and publications. You can find her complete collection at hananejamili.com

Families are warmly invited to join “Read For Eid” at Eva Perry Regional Library in Apex on Sunday March 15th. 

Open for all ages, you can stop by at any time between 2-4pm to share crafts and cardmaking and browse a collection of Ramadan and Eid themed library books. Feel free to share it with your friends and neighbors and anyone else you think might want to join us!

A couple weeks before MANC Fest 2024, we were honestly stressing 😅 trying to find enough volunteers for the art festival—until .shahin connected us with Sr. Amal . SubhanAllah, what a blessing 🤍✨
The dedication of the youth she brought to help at the art festival was incredible—courteous, enthusiastic, and ready to help wherever needed. Sr. Amal, our Palestinian powerhouse, shows up purely for the sake of Allah, with no ego and so much heart 🙌🎨
Even while injured, she came to the festival in her wheelchair and with her walking stick, blessing the space with her love and positive energy ♿💪 Her commitment to serving the community—especially youth and children—is truly inspiring. Sr. Amal is truly a blessing to the MANC team 🌟
We pray Allah grants her complete shifaa and continued strength to keep spreading khair wherever she goes 🤲💚
