All is not as it seems in Denmark. Prince Hamlet’s father has died, and his uncle, Claudius, has seized the throne and married Hamlet’s mother. After being visited by the ghost of his father, Hamlet becomes convinced that Claudius has killed him, and dedicates himself to exacting revenge. Schemes and plots go awry in this classic tragedy as it explores morality, vengeance, grief, death, and how appearances are not always indicative of reality.
