Hi guys,

So Directors Application is finally up. If you want to apply, click on the link below. You need to be an active member of PSAO to apply so you have to attend at least three club meetings. The application will be closed on September 14th or at the very most when I go to sleep that night. It should not be terrible to fill out, just a couple a questions thats all. Hi everybody,

Hope you guys enjoyed your summer. So we have a couple of events this week for the club. On Thursday(8/23), due to weather, we will have our involvement fair at the hub lawn, from11:00pm to 4:00pm. If you are in the area, come down and support us. Also, this Friday, at 306 Hub 8:00pm is our first manga night of the school semester. Come and meet your new and old friends on campus then chow down on some somewhat decent cheap pizza. It will be a blast!

Manga Drawing (Saturday, March 24th HUB Room 324, 2pm-5:30pm)
Do you like drawing? Would you like to try to draw your very own manga? Come to the hub this Saturday to draw some manga where you can replicate some well-known mangaka's art or make something your interesting out of your own taste. This is a simple free drawing event, so you do not need any prior experience. Hope to see you there!

Setsucon 2018 is next week and we are still looking for volunteers! This year Setsucon will be on January 27-28, 2018 at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Requirements for being a volunteer:
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must work a minimum of 8 hours in order to be reimbursed.
- You must have paid your registration prior to volunteering during the weekend.
- You must attend a training session at the venue on Friday January 26, 2018.
- If you need lodging, we require a $10 reimbursed deposit prior to being given a room.

The hotel has complimentary continental breakfast, and we will be providing one staff meal per day of convention. Your pre-registration cost and hotel deposit will also be reimbursed after the convention and completion of your hours. You will also receive an awesome staff t-shirt!

If your are interested in volunteering, then please fill out the volunteer form at https://setsucon.com/volunteer/. We ask that you online pre-register at http://setsucon.com/registration/ and write “VOLUNTEER” in the notes. Please complete by this Friday January 19. All volunteers must pay the pre-registration cost, but it will be reimbursed after the convention and completion of your hours.
