Since 2000, The Green Family YMCA celebrates a healthy community with a bright, new facility (with a Caribbean flair). Featuring an aquatic center, complete with a zero-depth entry pool for the little ones, Technogym fitness equipment, family and standard locker rooms, preschool and school age childcare classrooms, gymnasium and racquetball courts. For today and possibly the next couple of days, the only entrance to access the Y is the entrance at the intersection of Massillon and Graybill. The parking lot is being resurfaced and you cannot get to the Y from the entrance on Boettler.

We would like to extend our thanks to all of our lifeguards for keeping our pools safe for all of our families!!

Remember that pools can be very fun but also dangerous, our lifeguards strive everyday to make sure our YMCA pools are the safest and funnest around!!

On Drowning Prevention Day, we’re raising awareness about the importance of water safety, swim lessons, and active supervision around the water. Drowning can happen quickly and silently, but together we can help prevent it.

Whether you're at the pool, lake, or beach, remember: Anyone can drown. No one should.
