The State Theatre was honored to attend today’s award ceremony for the 2025/2026 Local Share Account (LSA) funding that will support a $50,000 project to enhance our roof drains.

A special thank you to the Redevelopment Authority and Commissioners Scott Dunn, Harry Kaufman, and Vince Vicites for their continued support as the theatre works towards essential building improvements.

🎁The Nutcracker Ballet — December 10-13th, 2026
An annual holiday tradition featuring over 100 local dancers! A holiday staple in Fayette County that continues to blow people away year after year!

🍓 Freckleface Strawberry the Musical — March 12-13th, 2027
We are especially proud to announce that the national tour of Freckleface Strawberry The Musical will launch right at the State Theatre before heading across the country. A staple children's book for many, transformed into a 60-minute musical that is perfect for the kids!

🎤DCOM: Live — May 7th, 2027
Featuring the music of Disney Channel Original Movies and Series, this live concert event combines Broadway-caliber performers, a live band, and all the nostalgia you can handle. Get ready to sing along to the soundtrack of your childhood.

Meet our next Miscast Cabaret Performer: Rebecca Kaufman Taylor! ✨

If you've spent any time in our region, chances are you've seen Rebecca on stage! A professional vocalist, educator, and lifelong performer from Uniontown, Rebecca's career has taken her around the world as a lead vocalist for Crystal Cruises, Asuka Cruise in Japan, Disney Cruise Line, and then to Las Vegas!

Today, Rebecca inspires the next generation of theatre artists as director of AGHS Drama Club, while continuing to perform locally with Nemacolin Resort and Main Street Theatre Company.
