As the 119th Eastern Oregon Livestock Show and Rodeo comes to a close, I can’t help but reflect on what an amazing experience it has been.

This week was filled with long days, great people, plenty of laughs, and memories I’ll carry with me for years to come. One of my favorite parts was getting to spend time with so many members of our community and seeing firsthand the support that makes this event so special.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, competed, exhibited, and worked behind the scenes. The Eastern Oregon Livestock Show and Rodeo is successful because of the people who continue to show up and support it year after year.

I’m incredibly thankful to have been part of this year’s rodeo and proud to be involved in a tradition that means so much to so many. While it’s bittersweet to see another EOLS come to an end, I’m excited for what’s ahead and looking forward to seeing where the rest of this year takes me.

I am beyond honored and grateful to have been crowned and given the opportunity to help carry this tradition forward. The Eastern Oregon Livestock Show and Rodeo has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and being entrusted with this role means more to me than words can express.

I want to extend a sincere thank you to all of the volunteers, sponsors, committee members, family, friends, and community members who helped make this event possible. Your dedication, hard work, and support are what keep this amazing tradition alive year after year. Thank you as well to everyone who attended the coronation and celebrated this special evening with us.

I am excited for the opportunity to represent the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show and Rodeo, promote the values of agriculture and rodeo, encourage youth involvement, and give back to the community that has given so much to me.

Here’s to carrying tradition forward and making the 119th Eastern Oregon Livestock Show and Rodeo one to remember!

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Bowman Trucking for being such an amazing sponsor of the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show and for putting together an incredible semi trailer for me to ride on during the Ag Timber Parade hosted by the Union County Farm Bureau! Your support means so much, and I am beyond grateful for everything you do to support our rodeo and agricultural community.

I am also incredibly honored to have been awarded Best Youth in the Parade. It was such a special experience to represent an industry and way of life that I care so deeply about.

Agriculture is the backbone of rodeo. From the ranchers and farmers to the sponsors, truckers, volunteers, and families who work tirelessly behind the scenes, rodeo would not exist without agriculture. The western traditions we celebrate in the arena all begin with the hardworking people who keep this industry alive every day.

Events like the Ag Timber Parade are such a great reminder of how important it is to support agriculture, rodeo, and the next generation of youth involved in these industries.
