Trail of Terror at the Union Fairgrounds - Union Maine

The 2026 Union Fair / Maine's Wild Blueberry Festival Trail of Terror Presented by The Friends of Union Fair Society will be 6pm-8pm on October 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th, and 31st!

We are looking for folks interested in organizing, building sets, decorating, scare acting, applying makeup for scare actors, parking, selling tickets, Trail guiding and more! Picture with this post is all the information you need! Please also feel free to message me on Facebook if you are interested! I will be making a group chat where you can recieve updates and be part of the conversation pertaining to this event!

We also want to have a Trunk or Treat this year since we are having the last Trail night on Halloween so save the date folks and if you want to be a part of the shenanigans in any way please contact us! Keep on the lookout for updates and the official flyers and social media ads!

We also ALWAYS are very grateful for any donations. We love decorations, animatronics(even broken ones), lighting, smoke machines, bubble machines, snow machines, school furniture, creepy household decor, etc.

We want to make this years TOT the best one yet!

This is sad news to the Haunted Scares Community.

Farmington Fright was one, if not the, premier Haunt in Maine.

They will be missed.

A Final Curtain Call for Farmington Fright Fest

After several seasons of screams, scares, and unforgettable nights in the dark, Farmington Fright Fest is closing its doors. This year, our three haunted attractions will not be returning.

To every guest who dared to walk through — thank you. Your screams, your laughter, and your loyalty built something special here, year after year.

To our cast and crew: none of this was possible without you. You gave your nights, your creativity, and your hearts to make this event come alive (and sometimes, come back from the dead). We are endlessly grateful for the family we built backstage.

While our haunt takes its final bow, the darkness doesn't have to end here. This page will keep bringing you news on other haunted attractions, Halloween events, and spooky conventions across Maine and New Hampshire — so the season of screams lives on.

Thank you for the memories. It's been a fright.
