"I'M MAD AS HELL ... AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!"
Some of you will get that reference but I AM mad as hell! I'm a news ju**ie and amateur historian, but I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! In our media all objectivity is gone! One side says outlandish lies and the other side provides a megaphone along with outrage! C'mon, man!!!!
And although this country has caused me and my ancestors much pain, it IS my country. And for better or worse I have to love it. From my perspective, this November election will determine the future of the USA.
So I can't take it. No more CNN, MSNBC, NY Times, WaPo, and as close as I get to the other side - Wall. St. Journal.
No more!!
I wanna spend the next 24 days or so READING PLAYS!! Well constructed plays! Funny plays!!! NO PLAYS ABOUT SLAVERY!!! because the legacy of decendants from Africa are more than that. I wanna read unpublished plays that are worth of being in the canon.
Please provide suggestions BELOW as I try to maintain my mental health for the next 3.5 weeks.
