14 years is a long time to make friends and memories. It seems just like yesterday that we whelped a lil blanket backed pup out of Candyman. We had such high hopes and dreams, similar to the boy in Where the Red Fern Grows, of having such a fine coondog.

It's with much sadness, but many many sweet memories, that I tell y'all that Gravedigger passed on to the big hunting ground to go get treed one more time.

A better coondog may have lived, but a better buddy and hunting companion never did. Digger was the best!

Congrats to Mr. Steven King & MLM Magic Sugar Babe on their 1st Place Registered win at Bellevue, MI this past Saturday. They hunted in 14 degree weather with a bunch of snow on the ground and ended up with 550+ and no minus.

They also picked up a Best of Breed in the bench show before the hunt.
