Washington Open Washington DC Open is an NDCA sanctioned event featuring both Pro/Am and Amateur events, as well as Open Professional categories.

We have exciting news for the dance community! Ksenia, Aida, and Sid are thrilled to announce that they are the new organizers of the Washington DC Open, taking place in the Washington, DC area. Event Dates: April 30 – May 3, 2026

We couldn’t be more excited about this event! We’re brimming with fresh ideas to make it an unforgettable experience for everyone—students, teachers, guests, judges, an

d performers. Expect new twists on parties, gifts, and overall organization designed to elevate your competition experience. The DC area is full of incredible dancers, and we can’t wait to bring everyone together for a spectacular weekend. We are inviting all of you to join us at Washington DC Open 2026—you won’t want to miss it! We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to an unforgettable event!

With deepest gratitude, we look back at the past weekend and realize that together we created something extraordinary! Wow!

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank all students, competitors, professionals, instructors, judges, officials, staff members, and guests for joining us at Washington DC Open this weekend. You support means the world to us! We appreciate every person who was a part of this event because it wouldn’t have been possible without all of you. Together we created an incredibly welcoming and warm atmosphere.

When we first imagined the Washington DC Open, we believed that America’s capital deserved more than just another dance competition. We wanted to create something special that will leave people inspired, fulfilled, and recognized. We wanted to create something that felt like unity, like family.

And this weekend our vision came to life! The energy in the ballroom was fantastic; we all felt it. Thank you for your passion and dedication!

All seminars will take place in Continental Ballroom
