I’m feeling incredibly blessed! In July, “Home Office” found a new home; in August, “After the Darkness” sold; and now, in September, “Keeper of the Western Spirit” will join two of my other paintings in a collector’s home.
A heartfelt thank-you to Tricia at Tricia’s Rose City Framing for supporting local artists and giving us such a wonderful place to share our work!

A heartfelt thank-you to the wonderful ladies who gave all my little birdies from the Whimsical Bird Mahjong Series new homes!
Prints from the series are now available at Tricia’s Rose City Framing, 214 Shelley Drive in Tyler. Prints of the last two pictured will be coming soon. I’m so grateful for everyone’s support!

In August I was honored to donate an artwork to The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary fundraiser. What a blessing to also have prints from my Whimsical Bird Mahjong Series help raise donations for such a meaningful cause! I’m truly grateful that my artwork could play a small part in supporting our community.

😴I’ve been a little quiet on social media during a very busy, eventful summer filled with graduations, celebrations and college goodbyes, Our new great-granddaughters first visit to the lake to celebrate the 4th of July with the family. Helping family after surgery, and saying farewell to precious 🦋friends. In between, I taught my first 👩‍🎨colored-pencil techniques class, created a Whimsical Bird Series for a fundraiser, and created several new pieces to replace artwork I was incredibly blessed to sell over the summer. These busy days left little time or energy for posting—and I simply needed time to take a breath and regroup. But I’m ready to ease back online and share what’s been happening in the studio. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with everyone and “Color Outside the Age Line”

I want to thank everyone who attended my very first Beginners Colored Pencil class on Tuesday. I’ll admit, I was a little nervous because I wanted everyone to leave feeling they had learned something new and have the confidence to created a piece of art they could be proud of. Your enthusiasm, kindness, and eagerness to learn made teaching such a joy. I was truly amazed by the beautiful artwork each of you created and I hope this is just the beginning of your journey with Colored Pencils. You gave me the confidence to want to teach again! I look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces to future classes. Thank you for making my first class such a wonderful experience! ❤️
