A Wasco County Fair Board Meeting will be held in person on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the BOCC/Kramer Board Room at the County building. The entrance is on the west side of the building.

🇺🇸🐴 What an incredible honor at the Sherman County Fair & Rodeo! 🤠❤️

I am so thankful for the opportunity to carry our beautiful American Flag 🇺🇸 during the Grand Entry. While our rodeo in Tygh Valley is cancelled for this year, it means a lot for a neighboring county to step up and have me involved in their special event. There are some moments you just never forget, and this is definitely one of them. ❤️🤍💙

All funds raised online through the Oregon 4-H Foundation between now and September 1st will be divided evenly between 4-H participants with market animals in the Wasco County Youth Livestock Auction this year.

Register as a buyer and bid on an animal, or make an add-on contribution to a youth’s sale. Every bid and every add-on sends a powerful message to a young person: your hard work matters. Enjoy a tri-tip dinner afterwards!

In this year that's been far from normal, it truly feels like 'fair' here on site. I want to thank our Fair Sponsors, those behind the scenes, 4-H, volunteers and Hood River County Fairgrounds from making this happen. Before we headed west, I did a tour of the sponsors banners that we had hung at our home fairgrounds to be able to thank them while were on the road here... support these local businesses, without them, we would have not been able to pull this off!
