Heartfelt Goodbye ā¤ļøš„
After much thought, I have made the difficult decision to begin closing this chapter of my small business.
This business started from a very personal place. I built it around my love and respect for my dedicated firefighter husband and my desire to help families in my small community who experienced the devastating loss of a home to fire. What began as a way to give back also became a creative outlet for me through designing and creating polymer clay accessories. It was never a thing to earn a quick dollar and Iāll be honest I put a lot of my own money into start up costs and the continuing of buying hardware and supplies to make these creations.
Over the years, the proceeds from my business have gone toward helping families affected by house fires. I have also been blessed with opportunities to donate to multiple benefits and organizations and to team up with nonprofits to help raise funds for causes that mattered to me + my community. I was honored to have my products showcased in multiple local stores, and I even had the opportunity to ship my creations to customers in several different states.
I started this business while being a stay-at-home mom, and it became so much more than I ever imagined it would be. There were plenty of times when I didnāt believe in myself or wonder if I could really do thisābut YOU believed in me. My followers, customers, supporters, friends, and family encouraged me, shared my posts, purchased my creations, attended my events, and continued to cheer me on. I will forever be grateful. ā¤ļø
Another part of this decision is that the store that has so graciously held my inventory for years is closing, and with my husband retiring, it feels like the right time to step back and close this chapter. Although you can still find my items in Green Bay at LOCO WISCO for a few more weeks.
I do have an upcoming surgery, so I may need to slow down for a bit, but I am going to try my best to finish out the rest of my scheduled events for the year. Ethnicfest , St Gregās , Pollyās pumpkin patch. I will post here when I know if I am available to attend. There are also so many unknowns and changes to our personal life upcoming that Iāve decided itās time.
BUtā¦. I am not quite done yet! š
All current available inventory can be found in my Facebook albums. If youāve had your eye on something, now is the time to grab it! Please help me declutter, if you purchase more than one item I will give you a deal.
Now into the liquidationā-
I am also offering the business itself for sale to someone who may want to carry on the vision, creativity, and heart behind what I have built. Whether itās running an online store , attending local vendor shows or putting products in local stores. Possibilities are endless. If youāve ever dreamt of owning a business this is the perfect start. Iāve already gathered all the supplies, partnered with the stores and have first grabs at all the local shows. If youāre serious ā send me a message.
And for those who love polymer clay or would like to continue creating with it, I might be offering my polymer clay supplies for sale to my followers if the business doesnāt sell.
This isnāt just the closing of a business. Itās the closing of a very special chapter of my lifeāone filled with creativity, community, generosity, friendships, and memories I will always treasure.
Thank you for following my journey. Thank you for believing in me when I didnāt believe in myself. Thank you for allowing me to turn something I loved into something that could help others.
From the bottom of my heart, with love and gratitude,
Thank you for being part of my story. š„ā¤ļø
